Residency @ CREAHM Liège

Créahm is an artistic, societal, and political project. Founded in 1979 by Luc Boulangé, the association aims to showcase and develop art forms created by individuals with mental disabilities. To achieve this, Créahm has established creative workshops led by professionals in visual and performing arts, framing its mission within a purely artistic context, rather than a therapeutic or recreational one. The originality and significance of this approach, both from an artistic perspective and in societal and political terms, remain central to Créahm's objectives today. Over time, several structures have emerged from this project: the Créahm Liège Day Center, established in 1994, and the Madmusée, founded in 2003 and renamed the Trinkhal Museum in 2020. These institutions, along with the workshops, form what is known as the "Grand Créahm," all contributing to the same overarching vision.

"Wait Here!" - A New Perspective on the Waiting Room

Turning the typical waiting room concept on its head, the Wait Here! exhibition transforms it into an engaging and shared experience.

Over four weekends, around 20 Brussels-based artists, including Sébastien Alouf, invite visitors to explore how design can reshape familiar spaces and tell new stories. The exhibit showcases imaginative interpretations of waiting spaces, with each piece interacting in surprising ways through material, function, and color contrasts.

The exhibition is part of the MAD Parcours and offers accessible pricing, with most works under 1000€, making them ideal for unique, thoughtful gifts.

More Than Now

‘MORE THAN NOW’

Group Exhibition presented by Lisa Boudet

A reflection on the concept of ‘psychological safety’, a culture of rewarded vulnerability. It’s about being genuinely comfortable to express yourself, share ideas, and learn from others without fear of judgment or repercussion. While authenticity empowers, we may find ourselves exposed to risk, uncertain about who genuinely has our best interests at heart.
