Créahm is an artistic, societal, and political project. Founded in 1979 by Luc Boulangé, the association aims to showcase and develop art forms created by individuals with mental disabilities. To achieve this, Créahm has established creative workshops led by professionals in visual and performing arts, framing its mission within a purely artistic context, rather than a therapeutic or recreational one. The originality and significance of this approach, both from an artistic perspective and in societal and political terms, remain central to Créahm's objectives today. Over time, several structures have emerged from this project: the Créahm Liège Day Center, established in 1994, and the Madmusée, founded in 2003 and renamed the Trinkhal Museum in 2020. These institutions, along with the workshops, form what is known as the "Grand Créahm," all contributing to the same overarching vision.
